Bandsintown has launched a marketplace of integrated tools, helping independent artists stay on top of their game.

Bandsintown has launched a new marketplace bringing together more than 30 trusted partners to help artists manage their careers in one place. The update connects tools across distribution, marketing, fan engagement, and merchandise – all aimed at helping musicians grow their audiences and take control of their creative workflow.

The news comes shortly after Bandsintown reached 100 million registered fans and more than 700,000 artists on its platform, marking another major step in its mission to support creators.

As Music Ally points out, the marketplace gathers services from more than 30 partners, including DSPs like Apple Music, Spotify and YouTube, marketing tools such as Linktree, Feature.fm and Bandzoogle, and fan engagement platforms like Openstage, Rivet, Cobrand and Community. There are also integrations with merch services including Amazon and Shopify.

The Bandsintown marketplace page boasts that it will help artists “amplify tours, music and merch” while allowing them to “own [their] audience” by connecting fan data and activity across different platforms.

For touring artists, the update also makes it easier for fans to discover events and buy tickets. Tour dates published via Bandsintown for Artists can now appear automatically on Apple Maps, Apple Music set lists, Google Search results, Shazam, Spotify and YouTube.

How can artists benefit?

The new marketplace acts as a central hub where creators can:

  • Share releases: via connected services like CD Baby, TuneCore, and UnitedMasters.
  • Engage fans: using marketing tools such as Linktree, Openstage and Feature.fm.
  • Manage websites: by syncing Bandsintown tour dates with Bandzoogle, Wix, Squarespace or WordPress.
  • Sell merch: through integrations with Shopify and Amazon Music Merch.

By linking these services, artists can streamline their workflows – saving time, improving visibility, and connecting tour promotion, merch and fan data in one ecosystem.

A step forward for artist independence

For years, Bandsintown has been known mainly for tour listings and event promotion. This new marketplace shows how the platform is evolving into a broader artist-support network. Instead of managing multiple apps or platforms, artists can now use Bandsintown as a central space for promotion and engagement.

It’s part of a wider movement across the industry towards direct-to-fan tools, a trend Music Ally highlights as increasingly central to how artists build sustainable careers. More platforms are now offering ways for creators to connect directly with their audiences, sell merchandise, and manage fan relationships without relying solely on streaming or traditional intermediaries.

Bandsintown’s marketplace is another step towards giving artists more independence, helping them connect every part of their creative and promotional process. The integrations aren’t exhaustive, though.
