You can now browse and listen to podcasts across devices, right within your browser, with the new Apple Podcasts web app.

Apple was one of the first adopters of podcasts when their launched the feature in iTunes in 2005. Today you can listen to more than two million shows on the dedicated Podcasts app on iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, tvOS, CarPlay and watchOS. Apple Podcasts are also available on the HomePod, Alexa, select vehicles and on Windows through iTunes.

Now, Windows users who don’t want to use the aging, bloated iTunes app, can now stream shows on the new Apple Podcasts web app. It’s available across devices on Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari.

Apple Podcasts for web is very similar to the app on Mac. In the left panel, you’ll find tabs for Home, Browse, Top Charts, Recently Updated, Shows, Channels, Saved and Latest Episodes. Home houses the latest episodes from shows you’re following and suggested new shows based on what you’re listening to. In Browse you’ll find a curated collection of some of the most popular shows, episodes and genres. Top Charts shows lists of the top shows, episodes and channels. The other tabs are under Library, which organises your saved content.

This launch comes a month after the launch of Apple Maps on web. Apple Music and Apple TV are available on web too. Apple looks to expand their services as much as possible, beyond just iOS and Mac users.
