Take a look back at your year’s listening habits within Apple Music.

Apple Music has unveiled its 2025 Replay feature, giving listeners a personalised look back at their year in music. Just like other well-known music streaming recap features, Apple Music Replay highlights favourite songs, albums, and artists, along with detailed listening habits that paint a full picture of your musical year.

What’s new in Replay 2025?

Apple Music Replay now includes three new categories to highlight your listening habits. Alongside these, you can see your total minutes spent listening, number of artists streamed, longest artist streak, top genres, and more. The Replay dashboard is available through the Home tab in Apple Music. The new categories are:

  • Discovery: New artists you discovered over the last year.
  • Loyalty: Artists you’ve returned to year after year.
  • Comebacks: Artists who made a return to your rotation.

Replay isn’t just for December. Users can explore monthly Replays and view summaries from every year they’ve been on Apple Music. The “Replay All Time” playlist gathers your most played tracks since joining the service. Apple continues to update these playlists throughout the year, though the December release is the most fun to explore and share.

Replay 2025 for Artists

Replay 2025 isn’t just for fans. Artists now get enhanced insights into their audience. In addition to data on total listeners, countries, cities, and minutes, musicians can see listenership growth and year-over-year performance summaries. Other metrics include top streamed songs, Shazam activity, radio spins, chart rankings, and playlist features.

This gives artists who distribute their music to Apple Music a clear picture of how their music is performing and where their audience is growing.

Top songs of 2025

Apple Music also revealed the platform’s most streamed songs of the year:

  1. “APT” – ROSÉ and Bruno Mars
  2. “luther” – Kendrick Lamar and SZA
  3. “Die With A Smile” – Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars
  4. “Not Like Us” – Kendrick Lamar
  5. “Birds of a Feather” – Billie Eilish

Apple Music Replay 2025 joins other platforms offering yearly recaps. YouTube launched its 2025 Recaps last week, and Amazon Music released its summaries the same day as Apple. These early releases encourage music sharing on social media ahead of Spotify’s Wrapped (which just dropped today).

You can view your Apple Music Replay 2025 directly from the Home tab in the Apple Music app. Once the feature has rolled out to your account, you’ll see the Replay banner ready to open and explore.
