2024’s year-in-review montage is now available inside Apple Music.

Apple Music’s yearly recap has arrived, and Apple Music has brought fresh features to its Replay experience. This annual recap offers listeners a chance to reflect on their listening habits across the year, and this year’s update makes it more interactive and insightful than ever.

What’s New in Replay 2024?

Apple Music already tracks listeners’ music habits all year round, with monthly stats and weekly updates to a ‘Replay 2024’ playlist of your top 100 songs. The yearly round-up shows your total minutes spent listening, number of artists discovered, and top genres. However, the end-of-year carousel now offers even more personalised insights:

  • Exclusive rankings: Whether you ranked among the top 500 or 1000 listeners for a specific genre of artist.
  • Longest listening streaks: Telling you how many consecutive days you listened to Apple Music- mine was 244 days!
  • Historical firsts: Letting you know your first play of an album, song, or artist.
  • Artist streaks: Insights into artists you listened to most consistently over consecutive months.

Replay even lets you compare your stats with those from 2023, offering a glimpse into how your music listening habits may have changed.

Finally, users can watch their Replay without having to leave the Apple Music app, for those updated to iOS 18.1 or later. Users on earlier iOS versions can still access their recap at https://replay.music.apple.com/.

Replay for Artists

For the first time, Apple Music has added Replay features for artists. Accessible through the artists dashboard, it lets creators celebrate insights like total minutes streamed, total number of listeners, top cities, and their most popular Shazamed tracks.

Let this year’s recap season commence…
