VIZIO’s new MicMe soundbar comes with a wireless subwoofer, two wireless microphones and a charging dock, plus works with any karaoke app.

VIZIO, known for the smart TVs and sound bars, have just announced their latest soundbar, the MicMe. While a pretty decent looking soundbar, with 2.1 audio from the two internal speakers and one wireless subwoofer, HDMI eARC, USB and Bluetooth 5.3 input, as well as support for Dolby Atmos and DTS:X, it’s the karaoke features that makes MicMe really stand out.

Both the soundbar and wireless microphones come in a Satin White finish, with gray fabric. The soundbar has a low profile, measuring 30 x 2.32 x 3.33 inches. There’s an included charging dock for the two wireless microphones, which last for around eight hours on a single charge, that should be plenty for even the longest of karaoke sessions.

The soundbar can be controlled by a soundbar remote control (sold separately), TV remote, VIZIO mobile app or through the TV settings when paired with a VIZIO TV. In the app, you can adjust the Echo Effect, apply six different Voice Enhancements, control settings and update the firmware. The microphone also features ambient light colors. There are nine LED colors to choose from, which can be adjusted on the mic or through the app.

The microphones are compatible with any music or karaoke app, including the new MicMe Karaoke by Stingray app, available on iOS and Android November 29. MicMe Karaoke has over 85,000 songs and is free on an ad-supported tier. Other popular karaoke apps that VIZIO points to include Kanto Karaoke, Stingray Karaoke, Smule, Party Tyme Karaoke and Yokee Karaoke. You could also use apps like Apple Music, which has a new Sing feature or YouTube of course has endless karaoke videos.

The VIZIO MicMe soundbar is going on sale for $349.99, which even ignoring the karaoke features, isn’t a bad price for a soundbar and subwoofer combo. It’s due to ship in late November. Head to vizio.com and use the “NOTIFY ME” button to be alerted by email.
