Bruno Mars’ comeback tour achieves record-breaking ticket sales, triggering more than 30 new dates to be added.

Just days after announcing ‘The Romantic Tour’ and his upcoming album ‘The Romantic’, Bruno Mars has broken Live Nation’s all-time record for the most tickets sold in a single day. His upcoming ‘The Romantic Tour’ sold more than 2.1 million tickets in a single day on Ticketmaster across North America, Europe, and the UK. It’s a milestone moment not only for him, but also for the power of the live music industry at large.

The popularity of the tour even led to Mars expanding the number of dates. 32 new dates have now been added, pushing his tour to roughly 70 shows worldwide. Several cities have seen major upgrades too.

Notably, Paris and Vancouver will now host three shows each, while Toronto, Amsterdam, East Rutherford, and Los Angeles have expanded to four nights apiece. London leads the way, jumping from two dates to a massive six-night run in July.

Bruno Mars only announced The Romantic Tour last week, and it arrives alongside his upcoming album ‘The Romantic’. It’s his first solo album in a decade, and his first full headlining run since his 24K Magic World Tour that launched in 2017. The album is set to release on February 27, and the project’s lead single, ‘I Just Might’, dropped on January 9th.
