Pogo Mixes: Explaining the Techniques and Processes used to Create Amazing YouTube Remix Videos

Nick Bertke who goes by the name Pogo on YouTube, has been creating some truly amazing movie ‘remixes’ for a number of years now.

He’s made a video also on his techniques and processes from start to finish. He uses a Mac with Adobe Audition and Ableton. Nick goes into great detail on how to achieve what he does, from importing the DVD, to mixing. He explains how what he’s looking for when going through the sounds of a film are vocals that strike a certain harmonic value, to reduce the amount of tuning needed, making them more artificial.
