‘너라서’ is a new single from AKIIRO, a four-piece Korean band, and bassist SOZY wrote and produced it. The premise is a letter that never gets sent, taken out and written again every time the season turns.

The arrangement stays with guitar, drums and bass, and it keeps the ballad tempo rather than building to a release. Vocalist Shin Ui-jae carries the melody with guitarist Do Sang-cheon and drummer Kim Beom-jun holding the frame, and the title phrase returns as the hook.

One letter, rewritten from March to September, and still not sent.

The lyric moves through the calendar to mark the passing. It opens in the spring wind of March and closes among the autumn blooms of September, using the seasons as the measure of how long the feeling has gone unspoken.

AKIIRO debuted with a five-track EP, ‘THE FIRST EP: MY GRADUATION JUST BEGAN AND…’, and a BandKing TV feature is ahead. For a band still building its catalogue, ‘너라서’ shows a group that would rather sit inside a feeling than resolve it early.
