‘작은 걸음, 큰 꿈’ (Prod. by 최아라) opens ‘우리의 이야기 Vol. 1’, a five-track EP from Project D. Five student composers each produced one song and wrote its lyrics.

The song tells anyone moving slower than others that it is fine: ‘조금 느려도 괜찮아 잠시 멈춰도 괜찮아’ – it is okay to be a little slow, it is okay to stop for a while. It goes on to ‘포기하지 않았던 오늘을 잘했다고 말할 거야’, a promise to praise a day you did not give up.

Project D is a student songwriting project produced by 박장현 (PARK JANGHYUN) and led by Project Dream. It debuted on 31 Jan 2025 with the EP ‘I’m a composer too!’ and released Vol. 2 and Vol. 3 in 2026. On Vol. 3 the students wrote, composed, sang and played guitar, piano, bass and drums themselves.

The EP also carries 조민서’s ‘A Mystic’, 유시온’s ‘Off-Beat (내 속도의 찬가)’, 이현우’s ‘구름’ and 이지혜’s ‘나의 이야기’. Play it on the way to school or on a quiet evening walk. Fans of 옥상달빛 or Standing Egg will feel at home.
