‘Convoy’ is the track from TOMMY YANG’s seven-song release ‘yang’ that features Lil Gnar. The record is built around that collaboration, with lyrics in Korean and English.

Two raps overlap on a loose groove, delivered close to a mumble. Nothing is pushed; the verses ride the beat and leave space between them.

Two voices sliding over the same loose groove.

TOMMY YANG is a solo rapper who also releases as Tommy Strate, and has written and produced much of the catalogue. As a new artist, TOMMY YANG drew shout-outs from Paloalto, The Quiett, Bill Stax, Hangzoo and Owen.

The debut came on 21 July 2017. ‘Convoy’ suits loose hip-hop and late-night playlists, next to Lil Gnar, Dakshood and Owen.
