Wonderfruit 2026 Lineup: Tangerine Dream, Nubya Garcia, Phum Viphurit and More
Thailand’s Wonderfruit Festival returns from 3–7 December 2026 with another adventurous programme of international music, art and cultural experiences.
Tangerine Dream, Nubya Garcia and Phum Viphurit are among the most recognisable artists appearing across the festival’s various stages.
Wonderfruit takes place at The Fields at Siam Country Club in Chonburi, near Pattaya.
Unlike conventional festivals, Wonderfruit does not organise its entire programme around a small group of headline artists.
Instead, music, art, architecture and cultural experiences are presented across different spaces throughout the site.
Who is playing Wonderfruit 2026?
The confirmed programme includes Tangerine Dream, Nubya Garcia, Phum Viphurit, JakoJako, Gerd Janson, DJ Python, Jane Fitz, Nicolas Lutz and Sweely.
Other notable artists include The Panturas, fox capture plan, Outlet Drift, Jack Wyllie, Sheherazaad and The Paradise Bangkok Molam International Band.
The electronic programme features artists including Marcel Dettmann, Howie Lee, DJ Deep, CHIDA, Orphx and DJ Masda.
Wonderfruit’s lineup is particularly interesting because it moves between musical traditions that are rarely represented together at mainstream festivals.
Jazz, experimental electronic music, psychedelic rock, traditional music and underground club sounds all appear.
Tangerine Dream bring electronic music history to Thailand
Tangerine Dream are one of the most influential groups in electronic music history.
Formed in Germany during the late 1960s, the group helped pioneer the use of synthesisers and electronic textures in long-form musical compositions.
Their work influenced generations of ambient, electronic and soundtrack composers.
Their Wonderfruit performance marks their first appearance in Thailand, making the booking particularly significant for fans of experimental electronic music.
Nubya Garcia represents contemporary jazz
British saxophonist Nubya Garcia is another major artist appearing at Wonderfruit.
Her music combines jazz with influences drawn from soul, electronic music and Caribbean musical traditions.
Garcia has become one of the most recognisable performers associated with the modern London jazz scene.
Her appearance provides a very different listening experience from the festival’s electronic club programme.
Phum Viphurit joins the international lineup
Thai singer-songwriter Phum Viphurit is another notable performer.
His combination of indie pop, funk and relaxed guitar-driven music has attracted listeners internationally.
Having prominent Thai artists alongside international performers is an important part of Wonderfruit’s identity.
The festival doesn’t simply import a lineup of Western artists. It provides a platform for performers from across Thailand and the wider Asian music scene.
Electronic music across unusual festival spaces
Wonderfruit’s electronic programme is spread across several distinctive spaces.
The Quarry hosts underground club music, including JakoJako, DJ Python, CHIDA and Nicolas Lutz.
Baan Bardo features artists including Marcel Dettmann, Howie Lee and DJ Deep.
The Creature Stage focuses more heavily on live music and international sounds, with artists including Nubya Garcia, Phum Viphurit and Tangerine Dream.
