Sick New World is expanding into Texas this month with an enormous one-day heavy music festival.

System Of A Down and Deftones headline the inaugural Sick New World Texas on 24 October 2026 at Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth.

Who is playing Sick New World Texas?

The festival features more than 50 artists.

Alongside System Of A Down and Deftones are Slayer, Evanescence, The Prodigy, Marilyn Manson, Knocked Loose, AFI, Ministry, Mastodon and Power Trip.

The wider poster includes Underoath, Clutch, Down, KMFDM, Coal Chamber, Melvins, Glassjaw, P.O.D., Deafheaven, Kittie, Filter, Orgy, Alien Ant Farm, Snot, She Wants Revenge, Boy Harsher and Speed.

That’s an extraordinarily concentrated selection of metal, industrial, hardcore, nu-metal, goth and alternative rock for a single day.

Slayer will perform Reign In Blood

One of the festival’s biggest individual performances will come from Slayer, who are celebrating the 40th anniversary of Reign In Blood by performing the album.

That should generate substantial searches independently of the overall festival lineup.

The Prodigy are another interesting booking because their electronic live show sits alongside System Of A Down, Deftones and some of the biggest heavy bands in the US festival market.
