Reeperbahn Festival returns to Hamburg from 16–19 September 2026, bringing hundreds of artists into venues throughout the city’s famous St. Pauli district.

Unlike festivals built around a handful of enormous headliners, Reeperbahn has always been heavily focused on new and emerging music.

The 2026 edition features around 340 artists across more than 30 stages.

Who is playing Reeperbahn Festival 2026?

Some of the most recognisable names include Pale Waves, Dry Cleaning, Anna von Hausswolff, HVOB, Pip Millett, Voxtrot, Donny Benét and Fat Dog.

Other artists include ALT BLK ERA, Keo, Cory Hanson, Cosmo’s Midnight, Dea Matrona, Chinese American Bear and dozens of newer artists from around the world.

That’s really where Reeperbahn’s appeal lies.

This isn’t necessarily the place to see ten giant stadium artists.

It’s the place where the next generation of festival acts can start appearing before moving dramatically higher up posters a year or two later.

A festival built around music discovery

Reeperbahn sits somewhere between a traditional festival and an international music-industry showcase.

Artists, labels, managers, publishers and music companies descend on Hamburg alongside ordinary festivalgoers.

That makes the lineup particularly useful for anyone interested in discovering music early.

With around 340 artists scheduled, you’re almost guaranteed to find something you haven’t heard before.

When is Reeperbahn Festival 2026?

Reeperbahn Festival takes place from Wednesday 16 September through Saturday 19 September across venues in Hamburg, Germany.
