NorthSide Festival 2027 Lineup: The Strokes, Phoebe Bridgers, Turnstile and More
NorthSide Festival has expanded its 2027 lineup, with Phoebe Bridgers joining The Strokes and Turnstile among the most recognisable names.
The Danish festival returns to Eskelunden in Aarhus from 10–12 June 2027.
The latest announcement arrived on 28 October and added several international artists alongside emerging Danish performers. The Copenhagen Post+1
Who is playing NorthSide 2027?
The announced lineup includes The Strokes, Phoebe Bridgers, Turnstile, Cake, Jalen Ngonda, Omah Lay, Tinariwen, Joey Valence & Brae and Angine de Poitrine.
Other confirmed artists include Mille, Kind mod Kind, snuggle, Pollyfromthedirt, Smøgmænd, Truman Sinclair, Von Quar and AKRIILA.
It is already a very varied poster despite being an early announcement.
Indie rock, hardcore, soul, Afrobeats, hip-hop and alternative pop all appear.
The Strokes return to Denmark
The Strokes are one of NorthSide’s biggest confirmed artists.
The New York band helped define the garage-rock revival of the early 2000s with albums including Is This It and Room on Fire.
Their songs Last Nite, Someday and Reptilia remain alternative rock favourites.
Their presence gives NorthSide a major booking with strong international appeal.
Phoebe Bridgers and Turnstile bring different audiences
Phoebe Bridgers and Turnstile are two particularly interesting names to see on the same festival lineup.
Bridgers has developed an international following through intimate songwriting and alternative folk-influenced music.
Turnstile have taken hardcore music into increasingly mainstream festival spaces, bringing a heavier sound to audiences who might previously have associated the genre with much smaller venues.
Having both artists alongside The Strokes demonstrates how NorthSide is expanding its musical identity.
Omah Lay and Tinariwen expand the programme
NorthSide is also looking beyond conventional European and American alternative music.
Nigerian artist Omah Lay brings contemporary Afrobeats and R&B.
Tinariwen bring their distinctive desert blues sound, rooted in Tuareg musical traditions.
Jalen Ngonda adds classic soul influences, while Joey Valence & Brae provide energetic alternative hip-hop.
That variety makes NorthSide useful for listeners hoping to discover music outside their usual genres.
When is NorthSide Festival 2027?
NorthSide takes place from Thursday 10 June through Saturday 12 June 2027 at Eskelunden in Aarhus, Denmark.
Individual performance dates have not yet been confirmed for every announced artist.
More acts are expected before the festival.
With The Strokes, Phoebe Bridgers, Turnstile, Cake and Omah Lay already confirmed, NorthSide 2027 has a strong foundation for one of Denmark’s most interesting alternative music weekends.
