Hurricane Festival has revealed a major second wave of artists for 2027, adding Placebo, Dermot Kennedy, Sublime, beabadoobee and numerous other performers.

The festival returns to Eichenring in Scheeßel, Germany from 18–20 June 2027.

Muse, Phoebe Bridgers and mgk were already among the biggest confirmed acts, with 32 additional artists announced on 29 October. Hurricane Festival+1

Friday: Phoebe Bridgers and Placebo

Friday 18 June features Phoebe Bridgers, Placebo, Dropkick Murphys, beabadoobee, Enter Shikari and Holly Humberstone.

Other artists include Bilderbuch, Blumengarten, Deine Cousine, Angine de Poitrine and South Arcade.

Friday offers a fascinating combination of alternative songwriting, punk and heavier electronic-influenced rock.

Placebo bring decades of alternative music history, while Phoebe Bridgers and beabadoobee represent more contemporary singer-songwriter and indie audiences.

Saturday: mgk, I Prevail and Giant Rooks

mgk leads Saturday 19 June.

I Prevail, Giant Rooks, Feine Sahne Fischfilet, Bleachers, Paula Hartmann, Madsen and Ikkimel are among the other major names.

Saturday is particularly strong for fans interested in music that moves between rock, pop, alternative hip-hop and modern metal.

German artists also have a substantial presence throughout the day.

Sunday: Muse, Dermot Kennedy and Sublime

Muse lead Sunday 20 June.

Kontra K, Pierce The Veil, Dermot Kennedy, Sublime, Alt-J, Simple Plan, Royal Blood and CHVRCHES are also scheduled.

That creates one of the most varied individual festival days in Europe next summer.

Muse bring arena-scale alternative rock, Dermot Kennedy adds a major singer-songwriter booking, while Sublime and Simple Plan provide familiar alternative music catalogues.

What makes Hurricane Festival interesting?

Hurricane works particularly well because it combines major international artists with a substantial German-language programme.

Kontra K, Ski Aggu, Ikkimel, Feine Sahne Fischfilet and Paula Hartmann appeal to audiences who might not necessarily attend a festival focused entirely on international rock.

Its sister festival, Southside, takes place over the same weekend in southern Germany and shares much of the touring lineup.

Hurricane takes place from Friday 18 June through Sunday 20 June 2027 at Eichenring in Scheeßel, Germany.
