Harry Styles has officially brought his Together, Together tour to New York.

The first show of the US leg took place at Madison Square Garden on August 26, with Styles beginning an extended run at the legendary New York venue.

And fans attending future shows may want to take a close look at the setlist.

Styles made a number of changes compared with earlier Together, Together shows, opening the New York performance with “Dance No More” before bringing back several songs that hadn’t appeared at recent shows.

According to the setlist reported following the show, Styles opened with:

  5. Adore You
  6. Watermelon Sugar
  7. Taste Back
  8. Sweet Creature
  9. The Waiting Game
  10. Satellite
  11. Are You Listening Yet?
  12. Ready, Steady, Go!
  13. Pop
  14. Season 2 Weight Loss
  15. Kiwi
  16. American Girls
  17. As It Was

The encore then included:

  1. Carla’s Song
  2. Coming Up Roses
  3. Sign of the Times
  4. Aperture

“Sweet Creature” was performed by Styles’ backing singers rather than Styles himself, while recorded versions of “I Will Always Love You” and “I Can’t Stop Loving You” were also played during the show.

There were some particularly interesting additions for longtime fans.

“Carolina” and “Cinema” both made their tour debuts, while “Kiwi” also returned to the Together, Together set. “Satellite” received its first full performance of the tour.

The set also shows how much Styles’ newer material now dominates his live performances.

Eleven songs in the New York show came from Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally., while tracks from Harry Styles, Fine Line and Harry’s House were mixed throughout the night.

There was still room for some of his biggest hits.

“Watermelon Sugar”, “Adore You”, “As It Was” and “Sign of the Times” all remained in the show.

Styles started performing at around 8:55pm and finished at approximately 10:45pm, giving fans a show lasting around one hour and 50 minutes.

And this is only the beginning of his New York run.

Styles is scheduled to play an extended series of shows at Madison Square Garden as part of the Together, Together residency tour, meaning the setlist could easily continue evolving.

For fans heading to one of the upcoming shows, there may still be more surprises to come.
