‘Take Me Back’ is a new single from Habitat, a Korean five-piece on PH Records. Two electric guitars sit under a string arrangement by So Heun Yeo, and the song follows a summer breakup that cannot be walked back.

See On sings. Sang Min Kim and In Taek Hong play guitar, In Ho Kim bass, Deok Hyun Kim drums. The band wrote and arranged the track together, then left the mix with Min Seong Choi at TONE Studio Seoul and the master with Hoon Cheon at SONICKOREA.

A summer storm, two guitars, and a goodbye that will not reopen.

The lyric stays with rain and the wish to return. See On Lee and Joon Hee Lee wrote the words. The five members composed the music, with So Heun Yeo joining the arrangement on strings.

Habitat debuted with the single ‘PingPong’ in August 2024 and self-produced the EP ‘Dawn’ the next month, covering recording and mixing in-house. The 15th MMF gold prize sits on that run. ‘Take Me Back’ keeps the cinematic, late-night drive the band already claimed.
