PrettyNabi is glumroll’s debut EP, a five-track exploration of balance, transformation, and duality. Inspired by the yin-yang philosophy embedded within Korean culture, the project embraces the idea that light and darkness are not opposing forces, but complementary parts of a whole.

Its title draws from the Korean word nabi (butterfly), a symbol of transformation and becoming. Across the EP’s five tracks, glumroll explores different points along the spectrum between yin and yang, allowing contrasting sounds and emotions to exist side by side. The hyperpop/K-jersey club “real2feel” embodies the EP’s brighter, more kinetic energy, while the shoegaze-inspired “wonder” drifts toward introspection before erupting into a cathartic finale.

Moving fluidly between electronic experimentation, dreamlike atmospheres, and moments of explosive release, PrettyNabi reflects glumroll’s belief that wholeness is found not in choosing between opposites, but in embracing both.

Closing the EP, 「wonder」is its emotional and sonic climax: a dream rock and shoegaze piece where glitched textures dissolve into towering walls of sound. Moving between stillness and overwhelming release, the song inhabits the fragile space between memory and reality, where emotions left unspoken continue to quietly echo.
