Electric Avenue has unveiled an enormous lineup for 2027, bringing Calvin Harris and Kings of Leon to Christchurch for two days of music at Hagley Park.

The New Zealand festival takes place on 26 and 27 February 2027, with 57 artists spread across a lineup covering electronic music, rock, pop, R&B and drum and bass.

Who is playing Electric Avenue 2027?

Kings of Leon headline Friday 26 February.

They’re joined by Major Lazer, Bebe Rexha, Kasabian, Hybrid Minds, K Motionz, Fat Freddy’s Drop, Kenny Dope, MALUGI, It’s Murph and Club Angel.

Saturday is headed by Calvin Harris, performing his only New Zealand show of the trip and his first performance in the country since 2019.

The supporting lineup is huge: Jungle, Underworld, Kehlani, Wilkinson, Tove Lo, Lime Cordiale, Gorgon City, Darius Syrossian, Pretty Girl, Home Brew, SACHI and Ladyhawke are all confirmed.

What makes Electric Avenue particularly interesting is how little the poster sticks to one genre.

Kings of Leon and Kasabian can attract rock audiences.

Calvin Harris, Major Lazer and Gorgon City cover mainstream electronic music.

Underworld and Kenny Dope bring serious electronic heritage.

Hybrid Minds, Wilkinson and K Motionz cover drum and bass.

Then Bebe Rexha, Tove Lo and Kehlani pull the festival towards pop and R&B.

That’s a remarkably broad bill.
