Australia’s CMC Rocks QLD is celebrating its twentieth anniversary in 2027 with an enormous country music lineup.
Eric Church, Brooks & Dunn and Ashley McBryde will headline the milestone edition.
The festival takes place at Willowbank Raceway near Ipswich, Queensland, from 19–21 March 2027, with additional camping activities beginning earlier in the week.
Who is playing CMC Rocks 2027?
The main lineup features Eric Church, Brooks & Dunn and Ashley McBryde.
They’re joined by Kameron Marlowe, Parker McCollum, Turnpike Troubadours, Blake Whiten, 49 Winchester, Randall King and Lanie Gardner.
Other confirmed artists include Zach John King, Colby Acuff, Tyler Nance, Kaylee Bell, Lily Meola, Kassi Ashton and Lane Pittman.
The Australian lineup is extensive too.
Zac & George, Rachael Fahim, Tori Darke, Dear Tommie, Loren Ryan, Jack Biilmann and numerous emerging performers are scheduled across the weekend.
That combination of major American country stars and Australian artists has become central to CMC Rocks’ identity.
Eric Church will perform in Australia for the first time
Eric Church is one of the biggest individual bookings.
The American country singer has developed an enormous audience through albums including Chief, The Outsiders and Mr. Misunderstood.
Songs such as Springsteen, Drink In My Hand and Talladega have become familiar favourites among country music audiences.
His CMC Rocks appearance will mark his first performances in Australia, giving the festival an especially significant booking for Australian country fans.
Brooks & Dunn return to Australia
Brooks & Dunn provide another major reason to attend.
The duo have enjoyed decades of commercial success and are responsible for songs including Neon Moon, Boot Scootin’ Boogie, My Maria and Red Dirt Road.
Their CMC Rocks performance will mark a return to Australia after almost twenty years.
For audiences who grew up listening to 1990s and 2000s country music, their appearance could be one of the highlights of the festival.
Ashley McBryde leads the modern country contingent
Ashley McBryde completes the headline trio.
Her songwriting and live performances have helped establish her as one of contemporary country’s most respected performers.
She returns to CMC Rocks following appearances in 2019 and 2023.
Other artists including Parker McCollum, Turnpike Troubadours and Kameron Marlowe ensure the lineup isn’t focused entirely on traditional country.
The festival offers a mixture of mainstream country, Americana, roots music and emerging performers.
