‘공백…’ is a new R&B single from Korean singer-songwriter Dahye (Jeong Dahye). The title means a blank or a gap, and the song is sung in Korean.

The sound sits in a dark tone but keeps the energy high. Dahye wrote the lyrics and composed the track with Kim Se-eun, who also arranged it. CarpeDiem recorded, mixed and mastered it.

A dark R&B single that never lets its energy drop.

Dahye has sung chorus and guest vocals on stage for many artists. The first release came in 2021 with ‘No More’ by the duo Jun & Hyedi, made with Yoon Junhwa. In 2023 Dahye wrote and sang the first solo single, ‘연락만이라도’, a ballad about missing someone after a breakup. ‘공백…’ moves from ballad to R&B.

It belongs on K-R&B playlists with deep feeling and a darker mood. Fans of Yerin Baek, Heize or SURAN should start here.
