‘Shattered Light’ is a new alternative single from Seoul-based producer Prod.Dex, released on Hidden Mint Records. The title comes from fragments of light scattered through a night garden under falling stars.

It moves at a mid-tempo 92 BPM, with a dark mix and a sustained texture running underneath. The lyrics are in Korean, and the mood leans towards a slow walk after dark.

Fragments of light in a night garden, set to a slow 92 BPM.

Prod.Dex writes soundtracks for Japanese games, including Elchronicle and Revenger Saga. Prod.Dex also releases J-Pop singles, handling the writing, composition and production alone. The best-known track is ‘Where The Stars Fall (Up All Night)’.

Listeners who follow Islet, Miyu Kumakawa or Tielle will recognise the J-Pop feeling here. Save it for a late-night walk.
