Azkena Rock Festival is celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2027, and organisers have marked the occasion with an enormous rock lineup.

The festival returns to Mendizabala in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain from 17–19 June 2027, with close to 60 artists confirmed.

Who is playing Azkena Rock Festival 2027?

The biggest names include Patti Smith, Bad Religion, Slash featuring Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators, Wilco and Marilyn Manson.

They are joined by Billy Talent, The Waterboys, Beth Hart, Rival Sons, Dave Alvin & The Guilty Ones, Billy Bragg, John Garcia and Michael Monroe performing Hanoi Rocks material, alongside dozens more.

The lineup spans punk, hard rock, alternative rock, blues, country, folk, garage, stoner and heavy metal.

Three Spanish exclusives

One of the biggest selling points is that Patti Smith, Bad Religion and Slash with Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators are each billed for their only Spanish performances of 2027.

That creates several obvious long-tail searches around “Slash Spain 2027”, “Patti Smith Spain 2027” and “Bad Religion Spain festival”.

The festival is also adding a new Strawhouse stage dedicated to acoustic performances with roots in folk, country and blues, alongside the returning Trashville programme.
