Electric Picnic 2026 Lineup: Lewis Capaldi, Gorillaz and Fontaines D.C. Headline
Electric Picnic 2026 is rapidly approaching, with another enormous lineup heading to Stradbally Hall in Ireland from 28–30 August.
The festival’s headline programme now includes Lewis Capaldi, Gorillaz and Fontaines D.C., alongside a wide-ranging lineup spanning pop, indie, hip-hop, electronic and Irish music.
Who is playing Electric Picnic 2026?
The headline acts are only the beginning.
CMAT, sombr, Zara Larsson, Skepta, Wunderhorse, Role Model and Geese were among the major names announced early for the festival.
A subsequent lineup expansion added another 42 international and Irish acts including Djo, JADE, Wolf Alice, Ben Hemsley, Duke Dumont, Obskür, Violet Grohl, Loyle Carner and Ravyn Lenae.
Irish music remains an important part of the festival too, with names including The Mary Wallopers, The Saw Doctors, Florence Road, Cliffords and Madra Salach among the 2026 additions.
Electronic music fans will have plenty to work through as well. The Terminus programme includes artists such as Interplanetary Criminal, MALUGI, X CLUB., CamrinWatsin, Clouds, DART, Effy and Faster Horses.
One of Electric Picnic’s broadest lineups
That variety is increasingly what defines Electric Picnic.
Gorillaz can headline for an alternative audience while Fontaines D.C. represent one of the biggest contemporary Irish rock acts. Lewis Capaldi provides the huge mainstream singer-songwriter moment, while CMAT, Zara Larsson and JADE move the programme further towards pop.
Then there is Skepta and Loyle Carner covering different corners of UK rap, alongside a substantial dance lineup and a growing collection of emerging artists.
It means Electric Picnic doesn’t really require festivalgoers to belong to one musical tribe.
And for anyone interested in discovering artists before they move much higher up festival posters, the depth of the 2026 lineup could prove particularly interesting.
When is Electric Picnic 2026?
Electric Picnic takes place from 28–30 August 2026 at Stradbally Hall in County Laois, Ireland. The festival says it expects around 80,000 festivalgoers, and tickets for the main event have already sold out.
With Lewis Capaldi, Gorillaz and Fontaines D.C. at the top and dozens of major and emerging artists across the wider bill, Electric Picnic 2026 looks like another huge weekend for Ireland’s biggest music festival.
