Rockstar Games has revealed the first six radio stations coming to Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6), with some of the biggest names in music set to entertain players across the game’s fictional state of Leonida.

Bad Bunny, Lana Del Rey, Burna Boy, Robyn, Morgan Wallen and members of legendary metal band Slayer are among the artists confirmed as radio hosts, bringing a diverse selection of musical styles to one of the most anticipated video game releases of the year.

With GTA 6 scheduled for release on November 19, 2026, Rockstar is continuing to reveal details about the game’s soundtrack, radio programming and music features.

Rockstar Games has officially unveiled six radio stations for GTA 6, covering everything from Latin music and hip-hop to country, pop, African music and heavy metal.

Each station will feature its own presenters, musical identity and selection of tracks, continuing a tradition that has helped make the Grand Theft Auto series famous for its soundtracks.

Latin music superstar Bad Bunny will team up with Puerto Rican singer-songwriter RaiNao to host Cocoteo FM.

The station will celebrate contemporary Latin music, including reggaeton, dembow, bachata and merengue.

Bad Bunny and RaiNao will voice the characters El Martillo and La Gata, introducing players to a selection of Latin sounds while travelling around Leonida.

The inclusion of two prominent Puerto Rican performers reflects the international popularity of Latin music and its growing influence on mainstream entertainment.

AfroBank FM will bring African music to GTA 6, with Nigerian superstar Burna Boy joining electronic music producer and DJ Palms Trax as presenters.

The station will introduce players to music influenced by African rhythms, dance culture and contemporary sounds.

Burna Boy has become one of the most internationally recognised figures in African music, making his inclusion another high-profile addition to the GTA 6 soundtrack.

Heavy metal fans will have their own station in GTA 6, with The Chamber 106.6 hosted by Kerry King and Tom Araya of Slayer.

The station will focus on classic metal, including music from the 1980s and beyond.

Rockstar has already highlighted artists including Black Sabbath, Pantera and Slayer as part of the station’s programming.

The Chamber 106.6 looks set to offer a heavier alternative to the game’s pop, electronic and hip-hop stations.

One of the most recognisable radio station names from the Grand Theft Auto franchise is returning.

Flash FM will feature Swedish pop star Robyn alongside model Alex Consani, bringing a combination of contemporary pop and familiar hits to Vice City.

Artists featured in the station’s music selection include Charli XCX, Zara Larsson and MGMT.

For longtime Grand Theft Auto fans, the return of Flash FM is particularly significant. The station originally appeared in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, where its selection of 1980s pop music helped establish the game’s distinctive atmosphere.

Hip-hop veterans Trick Daddy and Trina will host Dirty South Classics, a station celebrating Southern hip-hop.

Both artists have strong connections to Miami, making them natural choices for a game centred around the fictional Vice City, which draws inspiration from the Florida city.

The station will pay tribute to the region’s hip-hop heritage and the artists who helped shape its musical identity.

Country music will also play a major role in the GTA 6 soundtrack.

Back Country Radio will be hosted by Morgan Wallen and Lana Del Rey, with Lana’s husband Jeremy Dufrene also making an appearance as the character Mud Dog Mike.

The station will feature classic and outlaw country music, with confirmed artists including Loretta Lynn, Waylon Jennings, David Allan Coe and Hank Williams Jr.

Its programming will help establish the atmosphere of Leonida’s rural areas, giving players a different musical experience outside the bustling streets of Vice City.

Rockstar Games has confirmed another major addition to the franchise’s audio experience: on-demand podcasts.

For the first time in Grand Theft Auto, players will be able to listen to podcasts while exploring the game world.

Both radio stations and podcasts will be accessible inside vehicles and while travelling on foot, thanks to headphones and earbuds connected to the characters’ smartphones.

This represents an evolution of the traditional GTA radio system, which has historically been most closely associated with driving.

The new functionality means players will be able to enjoy the game’s music programming throughout more of their experience, rather than relying entirely on car radios.

Alongside its radio stations, Rockstar has previously announced Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, a 34-track soundtrack featuring original music from a wide range of performers.

Artists associated with the project include:

Six singles from the soundtrack have already been released ahead of the game’s launch.

However, the 34-track album should not be confused with the entire collection of licensed songs available across GTA 6’s in-game radio stations.

Rockstar has yet to reveal the complete radio soundtrack, meaning additional artists, songs and possibly further stations could still be announced.

Music has always been an important part of the Grand Theft Auto experience, but the franchise also provides a significant promotional opportunity for recording artists.

Previous GTA titles have introduced millions of players to songs they might otherwise never have discovered.

Unlike conventional radio or playlist placements, video game soundtracks can become closely associated with memorable moments, locations and experiences.

A song played during a drive through Vice City may become part of a player’s connection to the game, potentially encouraging them to discover the artist on streaming platforms.

For independent musicians, this highlights the wider opportunities available through music licensing and sync placements.

Video games, films, television programmes and advertising campaigns can introduce music to entirely new audiences while potentially generating additional licensing revenue for rights holders.

Although GTA 6’s radio soundtrack will feature established global stars, the broader video game industry also creates opportunities for emerging artists and independent labels.

Grand Theft Auto VI is currently scheduled for release on November 19, 2026.

The game will take players back to Vice City and the surrounding fictional state of Leonida, with protagonists Jason and Lucia at the centre of the story.

Rockstar has already made previews of its six announced radio stations available through the official GTA 6 website, giving fans an early opportunity to hear the music and presenters.

With more soundtrack details potentially arriving before launch, music is shaping up to be one of the game’s biggest attractions.

Players can preview the officially announced radio stations on Rockstar Games’ GTA 6 music website.

Each preview provides a taste of the station’s sound, presenters and musical selection.

With a lineup spanning international superstars, regional music legends and multiple genres, GTA 6 looks set to continue the franchise’s reputation for memorable in-game music.

For artists and music fans alike, the soundtrack also demonstrates how video games are becoming increasingly important platforms for music discovery.
