LEVITATION returns to Austin, Texas from 10\u201313 September 2026 with four days of psychedelic rock, punk, metal, indie, electronic music and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Rather than operating as a conventional festival contained inside one field, LEVITATION spreads performances across Austin’s Red River District, East Side venues and other locations around the city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Among the biggest names are Bikini Kill, Molchat Doma, American Football and newly confirmed Sunday headliner Sleep.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sleep were revealed after the initial lineup announcement and will close the festival on Sunday 13 September. Kylesa, Her New Knife and The Well were also added to the programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
American Football headline a Thursday show at Stubb’s, while other artists spread across more than 20 individual bills throughout the weekend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The broader programme ranges from the electronic sounds of Smerz through post-punk and darkwave to heavy psychedelic rock and metal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
LEVITATION is effectively part festival and part citywide music takeover.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Instead of forcing every artist into the same few stages, the format allows individual shows to have their own identity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
