A: My brother was the one who first introduced me to rap\u2014he brought me an Eminem cassette tape and a Discman, and from that moment I fell in love with the genre. Hearing Eminem made me want to become a rapper myself. Over time, that inspiration has grown from simply loving rap to wanting to tell my own story and use music as a way to connect with people who have been through similar struggles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A: When I start a new track, I usually begin by finding a beat and vibing with it for an hour or two. Once I\u2019m in the right headspace, thoughts and lyrics start popping into my mind naturally. From there, the ideas build on each other, and I just let the flow take over. It\u2019s a very organic process for me\u2014once the spark hits, the rest follows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A: KKoke and Benny Banks from the UK, along with Eminem and Lil Durk from the US, have had a huge influence on my sound. Their music gives me chills because I relate deeply to their stories and the things they\u2019ve been through. They\u2019ve played a massive role in shaping my own musical journey\u2014especially KKoke, who has inspired me from the beginning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A: The toughest challenge I faced was being detained in a medium secure mental health hospital for six years. It was a massive setback, but it ended up changing things for the better once I was released. I got through it by having access to recording equipment in my room, which allowed me to keep writing, recording, and releasing music even while I was inside. Music helped me stay focused and grounded during that time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A: I want listeners to relate to my music and take positive messages from it\u2014something that helps them get through tough times.
