Romany Gilmour and Marshall Gilmour Webbs Debut in London
The newly formed group Marshall Gilmour Webbs brings together four talented musicians, including Romany Gilmour, daughter of legendary Pink Floyd guitarist David Gilmour. She is joined by Hattie and Charley Webb (known for their work with Leonard Cohen) and Louise Marshall, a celebrated vocalist from the Jools Holland band and co-writer of the hit “Afraid to Feel.” The four artists met during Gilmour’s Luck and Strange tour and decided to create a project of their own.
With a setlist featuring original songs and carefully chosen covers like The Great Gig in the Sky, If It Be Your Will, and And So It Goes, the group made their debut in London in July 2025. All four shows at the intimate Piano Smithfield venue sold out quickly. Audiences praised the performances for their vocal harmonies, elegant simplicity, and emotional depth.
Though the Gilmour name carries a legendary weight, Marshall Gilmour Webbs stands confidently on its own, offering a fresh sound and strong female presence in contemporary music. With more performances and possibly a studio release on the horizon, they are quickly becoming a name to follow.
