Jupiter Sky: “Staying true to my artistic vision is the core of everything I create”
Jupiter Sky showcases their melodic experimental take on electronic music by tapping into the deeper and more visceral aspects of the genre. Creating a unique listening experience for their audiences and invoking vast emotions featuring their art’s evolution and readiness to explore the music scene.
Q: What direction do you see your music taking in the next few years?
A: In the next few years I see my music becoming more expansive, introspective and atmospheric that leans deeper into themes of story telling evoking feels of melancholy, euphoria, self reflection & exploration. I want my sounds to feel like a novel, the way Mortal Chaos by Matt Dickson pulls you into another world. That’s how I want my music to resonate, as a portal to universes that I create. My goal is to create music that feels familiar and transformative. Overall, I see myself becoming more intentional, expressive and experimental.
Q: How do you balance staying true to your artistic vision while meeting industry expectations?
A: I’ve learned that staying true to my artistic vision is the core of everything I create. My music starts from a place of emotion, memory and introspection so authenticity naturally guides me. But I’m also aware of how the industry evolves and I try to meet those expectations in a way that still feels honest to my sound.
For me, the balance comes from intention. I stay rooted in the themes and feelings that define Jupiter Sky while letting industry standards influence the presentation, not the soul. I’ll adapt the structure, polish or pacing when needed but never at the expense of the emotional story I’m trying to tell. In the end, if the music resonates deeply and stays true to who I am, everything else falls into place.
Q: What role does technology, or new music tool play in your creative process?
A: Technology plays a huge role in my creative process. I see it as an extension of my imagination and not a tool to replace creativity. I use it to enhance it allowing me to experiment, explore new emotional spaces and push my sound in directions that feel more cinematic and introspective. Tools like mix checker & Fadr eases creative work flow. For me technology isn’t about trends, it’s about giving my feelings more color, more depth and more ways to be heard.
Just to point out. I also run a fandom page called Jupiter Sky, where I share my music, creative process, concepts and the stories behind my tracks. It’s a space for listeners to explore the universe I create through my music and to connect with me as an artist. The page allows me to engage with fans and be inspired by the ways they experience and interpret my work. https://jupiter-sky.fandom.com/wiki/Jupiter_Sky
Q: Is there a particular song of yours that holds special meaning to you? Why?
A: BLUE and Velvet Euphoria are two of the most meaningful tracks I’ve created so far. BLUE was especially special. The entire creative process revolved around a dream I had filled with themes of exploration, escape and survival. To me, BLUE isn’t just a song; it’s a place from that dream. I built a narrative about Nakiah, a celestial being seeking refuge on the BLUE realm, a vast floating expanse in the sky where she escapes the weight of her longing. That world became the foundation for Velvet Euphoria which expands on the concept with its own nuances: a floating expanse, a celestial guide and the mysteries of the Velvet Realm. Both songs are tied to that universe and creating them felt like stepping into another world.
Q: What do you think is the most misunderstood aspect of being a musician?
A: One of the most misunderstood aspects of being a musician is how much emotional energy and inner work goes into creating. People often see the final product, the aesthetic, vibe and a polished work but not go deeper. Music isn’t about making sounds or following trends, its storytelling, it’s self reflection and constant evolution. Many assume that creativity is effortless or instant when in reality, it comes with moments of doubt, long hours of shaping ideas navigating both inspiration and pressure. At the end of the day, being a musician is deeply personal. It’s about pouring parts of yourself into something that’s others can feel.
