Spain’s Benidorm Fest has revealed all 18 artists competing in its 2027 edition.

Vicco, Merche, Ladilla Rusa and Isabel Aaiún are among the most recognisable names confirmed for the televised music competition.

The announcement was made by Spanish broadcaster RTVE on 14 October 2026.

The competition will feature two semifinals on 26 and 28 January before concluding with the grand final on 30 January 2027.

Who is competing in Benidorm Fest 2027?

The complete artist lineup includes Alba Morena, Andrés Koi, Bombai, Chema Rivas, dani dicostas, Fran Tuduri, GALE, Isabel Aaiún, Ladilla Rusa, Merche, Pipiolas, Polo Nández & Sebastián Llosa, ROSSA, Sara Abad, Sev’s, Suzete, Tami Tamako and Vicco.

The 18 contestants represent a broad mixture of Spanish pop, indie music, Latin sounds and contemporary electronic influences.

Some artists have already enjoyed significant commercial success, while others will be using Benidorm Fest to reach a much wider audience.

That’s one of the strengths of the competition.

Established performers appear alongside emerging artists, giving audiences an opportunity to discover music they might otherwise miss.

Vicco returns to Benidorm Fest

Vicco is one of the most recognisable returning contestants.

Her song Nochentera became a major Spanish pop hit following her appearance at Benidorm Fest 2023.

The track’s combination of nostalgic production and contemporary pop helped Vicco build an audience well beyond the original television competition.

Her return in 2027 is therefore one of the most interesting stories from the lineup announcement.

Merche and Isabel Aaiún join the competition

Merche brings considerable experience to the festival.

The Spanish singer has enjoyed a successful career spanning more than two decades, with songs including Abre tu mente becoming familiar to Spanish pop audiences.

Isabel Aaiún represents a different musical direction.

Her song Potra Salvaje became a major cultural phenomenon in Spain, particularly during 2024.

Her music draws from traditional Spanish influences alongside contemporary popular sounds.

Having Merche and Isabel Aaiún competing alongside newer artists gives Benidorm Fest an unusually broad range of styles.

GALE brings international songwriting experience

Puerto Rican artist GALE is another interesting addition.

Alongside her solo career, she has worked as a songwriter for major Latin and international artists.

Her credits include work associated with Shakira, Christina Aguilera, Aitana and Manuel Turizo.

That experience could make her one of the competition’s most interesting contestants when the songs are finally revealed.

When will the Benidorm Fest 2027 songs be released?

RTVE has announced that the competing songs will be presented on 17 December 2026.

That means the current announcement confirms the artists, but the public has not yet heard their official competition entries.

The songs should provide another major moment of interest before the live performances begin.

When is Benidorm Fest 2027?

Benidorm Fest takes place at Palau d’Esports L’Illa de Benidorm in Spain.

The first semifinal takes place on 26 January, the second on 28 January and the grand final on 30 January 2027.

With Vicco, Merche, Ladilla Rusa, Isabel Aaiún and GALE among the 18 contestants, Benidorm Fest 2027 promises another diverse competition celebrating contemporary Spanish-language music.
