ArcTanGent has unveiled its first lineup for 2027, just as the experimental rock and metal festival prepares to move to a brand-new home.

The festival runs from 18–21 August 2027 at Todenham Manor Farm near Moreton-in-Marsh in the Cotswolds.

Who is playing ArcTanGent 2027?

Blood Incantation will headline Thursday, while Neurosis headline Saturday.

The first wave also includes SLIFT, The Ocean, Messa, Conjurer, Holy Fawn, MØL, Psychonaut, Lowen, If These Trees Could Talk, Crown Lands, Sadness and A Forest Of Stars.

The Wildhearts will perform a special one-off progressive set, while Employed To Serve will celebrate the tenth anniversary of The Warmth Of A Dying Sun.

That is classic ArcTanGent: very little concern about conventional genre boundaries and a strong bias towards music that is complicated, heavy, experimental or all three at once.

Neurosis return to the festival stage

Neurosis are likely to be the biggest talking point.

The influential post-metal group recently returned to live activity with Aaron Turner on vocals, and their 2027 ArcTanGent appearance will be their first time headlining the festival.

Blood Incantation are also making their ArcTanGent debut.

Interestingly, the Friday headline slot has not yet been announced, meaning the page already has a natural future update when the next lineup wave lands.
