Slam Dunk Festival 2027 Lineup: Bowling For Soup, Simple Plan, Killswitch Engage and More
Slam Dunk Festival has unveiled the first major wave of artists for 2027, with Bowling For Soup, Simple Plan and Killswitch Engage at the top of a huge pop-punk, ska, emo and metalcore lineup.
Slam Dunk North takes place at Temple Newsam in Leeds on Saturday 29 May, before Slam Dunk South brings the same festival to Hatfield Park on Sunday 30 May 2027.
Who is playing Slam Dunk Festival 2027?
The current lineup includes Bowling For Soup, Simple Plan, Killswitch Engage, Reel Big Fish, Less Than Jake, The Interrupters, Beartooth, Wage War, The Amity Affliction, Sleeping With Sirens, The Used and The Maine.
Also confirmed are We The Kings, The Academy Is…, Cute Is What We Aim For, The Front Bottoms, Four Year Strong, Trophy Eyes, Knuckle Puck, Hot Milk, Mouth Culture, RedHook and As December Falls.
That is already an unusually deep lineup for anyone whose playlists are dominated by 2000s alternative music.
Major anniversary performances and reunions
There are several particularly strong hooks buried inside the poster.
Bowling For Soup are celebrating 25 years since Drunk Enough To Dance, while Simple Plan are marking 25 years of their debut album No Pads, No Helmets…Just Balls.
Perhaps the most interesting booking is Reel Big Fish, who are returning for a UK-exclusive reunion appearance after going on hiatus in 2019.
Killswitch Engage, meanwhile, will make their first-ever Slam Dunk appearance.
