Pantera are launching a new two-day festival in New Orleans this November.

The Great NOLA Trendkill takes place on 20 and 21 November 2026 at Lakefront Arena, with Pantera returning to New Orleans for their first hometown-area performance in 30 years for frontman Philip Anselmo.

Who is playing The Great NOLA Trendkill?

The lineup includes:

Pantera, Down, Black Label Society, Corrosion of Conformity, Power Trip, Crowbar, Eyehategod, Pig Destroyer, Rāde and Herakleion.

Individual daily lineups have not yet been announced.

For heavy music fans, though, the overall bill is extremely concentrated.

Pantera celebrate The Great Southern Trendkill

The festival’s name isn’t accidental.

2026 marks the 30th anniversary of Pantera’s 1996 album The Great Southern Trendkill.

The New Orleans event will recognise that anniversary while also marking Pantera’s return to the city.

Philip Anselmo will be particularly busy.

He’s fronting Pantera and will also perform with Down.

Down will launch Volume V at the festival

Down’s performance doubles as the official record-release show for their new album Volume V, which is due to arrive on the festival’s opening day, 20 November.

The weekend also marks the return of the Housecore Horror Festival, adding horror screenings, special guests and other events around New Orleans.
