KISU (기수), born on October 2, 1990, is a South Korean singer-songwriter currently signed to Beyond ENT. His musical journey has been diverse and evolving. KISU was formerly a member and vocalist of the boy group 24K and their subunit 4K. He initially began his solo career under the name ‘Soo’, making his solo debut on December 22, 2017, with his first studio album “Sweet Lie”.
KISU describes his music as ‘Life’, aiming to convey his growth, experiences, and emotions through his voice. His primary goal is to spread positive energy and happiness to his fans.
Recently, KISU released a digital single album titled ‘KISS U’, which also serves as the name of his fandom, symbolizing a special bond with his supporters.
South Korean singer-songwriter KISU successfully completed his European tour across 10 countries from February 14 to March 1, 2023. The tour, named ‘BEYOND WORLD TOUR – Will Be Fine’, marked a significant milestone as KISU reunited with his European fans after nearly six years.

KISU’s European tour wasn’t without its challenges. Initially scheduled for March 2022, the tour faced postponements due to the war in Ukraine. However, KISU’s determination to fulfill his promise to his fans saw the tour rescheduled for February 2023. This commitment to his fans, despite the obstacles, made the tour even more meaningful for both KISU and his devoted followers.
As part of his European activities, KISU participated in the third edition of the Korean Touch festival in Lyon, France, on July 6-7, 2023. This event, which has become a cornerstone for Korean culture enthusiasts, saw thousands of visitors gathering at the Double Mixte de la Doua.
During an exclusive interview at the festival, KISU shared his excitement about performing in Lyon for the first time. “I was very surprised, but also very happy. I didn’t expect so many fans to be shouting my name!” he exclaimed. The warm reception he received in Lyon left a lasting impression on the artist.
KISU’s tour wasn’t just about performances; it also allowed him to explore the rich cultural heritage of European cities. In Lyon, for instance, he visited Old Lyon and Fourvière, describing the experience as “really beautiful.” These visits inspired him to deliver even more heartfelt performances to his fans.
The artist’s enthusiasm for European culture was evident as he shared, “I recorded videos that I immediately showed to my family, which made them want to come to Lyon to visit the city.” This experience even prompted KISU to revive his vlogging, promising fans a special Lyon vlog on his YouTube channel soon.
KISU’s successful European tour has opened up new opportunities for the artist. He hinted at potential future projects, including new songs and possible collaborations with other artists. “In August, I’ll return to France, to Réunion Island, for another festival. Then I’ll fly to the United States, and maybe in November, I’ll come back to France, to Lyon, for other festivals and concerts,” he shared excitedly.
The artist also expressed interest in collaborating with French artists, stating, “If I have the chance, I’d like to collaborate with a French singer or singer who has a style similar to mine.”
Regarding the European tour, KISU expressed, “This European tour is very meaningful to me. Until 2017, I met many fans across Europe as a member of 24K, and I’m already excited to meet European fans again after a long time due to military service and various circumstances. We will repay fan support with great performances and a meaningful time.”
Prior to the tour, in November 2022, KISU held an online concert titled “ALL TOGETHER”, donating all proceeds to the Embassy of Ukraine and underprivileged communities, showcasing his commitment to philanthropic causes. He has also been expanding his artistic repertoire by working as a music video director.
KISU’s global activities continue to expand. Following successful European tours, he is set to embark on his first U.S. tour in 2024, named ‘IANKR USA TOUR 2024’. This tour will cover several American cities including San Antonio, Montgomery, Atlanta, Miami, Denver, and Gainesville.
