Ender built a reputation on slow-tempo soul. ‘Trigger’ files under rock instead, and the move is the story: the same voice that carried ‘첫사랑의 기준은!’ through an unhurried ballad now works against a faster, harder frame.

The track sits at 129 BPM, which gives the arrangement somewhere to push. Where the earlier ballads left room around every phrase, this one closes that gap and asks the vocal to hold its line while the band keeps moving underneath.

The catalogue reads as a deliberate spread. ‘Troper’ and ‘첫사랑의 기준은!’ sit in R&B and soul, ‘순간 애’, ‘Trigger’ and ‘From the Very Beginning’ in rock, and ‘Fxxx Cake’ under K-pop. Six tracks, three genre files, one artist working through them in sequence.

Ender releases through OPCD, the Changdong crew that runs its own workshop projects, and that setting explains the range. ‘Trigger’ is the clearest evidence so far that the shift is a direction rather than a detour.
