YouTube looks set to announce the features of their new premium subscription service tomorrow at YouTube Space LA.

There have been rumours for a few months that YouTube would be introducing a paywall to certain content and now a report from Re/Code has confirmed that it will announce some of it’s programming tomorrow in LA at YouTube Space.

YouTube has been funding some content from it’s top creators, spending millions on investments and it now seems that YouTube intend to add that content to their premium tier. Along with exclusive content premium subscribers will be able to access videos ad-free and we expect more features to be announced tomorrow.

It’s unclear whether YouTube plan to include Music Key with their new subscription service, however Music Key has yet to be released having been in beta for a year and multiple delays on it’s official launch. The delays could be a result of YouTube planning to integrate the two services, which could explain Music Key’s release delays.

YouTube have apparently been signing contracts with content providers including Fox Sports, A&E Networks, NBCUniversal and maybe even Walt Disney Co. A group of creators famous through YouTube are also said to have been funded by YouTube.

Until tomorrow we have no more information it other than it is expected to cost you $10 a month. YouTube still plan to support their free, ad supported website which will still feature the same content just without some of the exclusive videos and features.
