Beyonc\u00e9 dropped her hit record &#8216;Cowboy Carter&#8217; in March and immediately broke records on <a href=\"https:\/\/routenote.com\/spotify#:~:text=You%20can%20distribute%20unlimited%20music,listeners%20all%20around%20the%20world.\">Spotify<\/a> and beyond. It also took Beyonc\u00e9&#8217;s claim as the most-streamed album in a single day in 2024 within 12 hours of release. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To enhance the furore around her album, Swift released an entire second side to the record just hours after its midnight release. Sending Swifties into a frenzy and boosting streams, this no doubt helped her record to jump from what would already be extraordinary streams to a hugely discussed event. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<iframe style=\"border-radius:12px\" src=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/embed\/album\/5H7ixXZfsNMGbIE5OBSpcb?utm_source=generator\" width=\"100%\" height=\"352\" frameBorder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"\" allow=\"autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; fullscreen; picture-in-picture\" loading=\"lazy\"><\/iframe>\n\n\n\n<p>As if that wasn&#8217;t enough, Swift took the record for most-streamed song in a single day in Spotify history with her single &#8216;Fortnight&#8217; featuring Post Malone. Swift has a history of breaking records on Spotify: Her 2022 album &#8216;Midnights&#8217; also became the most-streamed album in a single day at the time, going on to become the most-streamed artist in a single day at the time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Not enough for her? No, she went on to be the most-streamed artist of 2023 despite not releasing a new studio record.
