The company delivered a solid performance across key metrics, showcasing progress towards its goal of monetization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Spotify co-founder and CEO Daniel Ek emphasized the company&#8217;s commitment to monetization in 2024. He stated, &#8220;We&#8217;ve talked about 2024 as the year of monetization and we&#8217;re delivering on that ambition.&#8221; This focus on profitability is evident in the strong revenue and margin expansion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This month, <a href=\"https:\/\/routenote.com\/blog\/spotify-hikes-prices-for-the-second-time-in-a-year\/\">Spotify&#8217;s prices rose for the second time in a year<\/a>. These two price rises come after Spotify kept their prices consistent for years. Their price rises catch up to years of losses from inflation   and provides another source of increased revenue beyond user growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, Ek also acknowledges the importance of user growth.
