Spotify<\/a> have been testing a new feature that displays a podcast’s follower count. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The data shows that The Joe Rogan experience has 14.5 million followers on Spotify<\/strong> as of late March 2024. Now that Joe Rogan’s podcast is no longer exclusive to Spotify the data isn’t all inclusive, meaning his overall numbers are likely quite a bit higher.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With 16.4 million YouTube subscribers alone, Joe Rogan’s podcast has a huge influence in platforms beyond Spotify too. With Edison Research<\/a> reporting that 42 million people in the US listened to podcasts in 2023, Joe Rogan seems to be taking a huge portion of the overall podcast audience for the US.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Joe Rogan gets listeners from all over the world. Data suggests that his audience is skewed towards younger, male audiences. The range of interviewees means that audience data from episode to episode can vary. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Joe Rogan signed an exclusive deal with Spotify back in 2020<\/a>. His impressive following of 14.5 million has been built in the last 4 years since then. In February this year, Joe Rogan signed to another deal with Spotify<\/a>. However, they ended their exclusivity terms allowing The Joe Rogan Experience to be distributed to other platforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Joe Rogan Experience is now available on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, YouTube, and further.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
