(\uc628)<\/a> playlist. In that time it has become a cultural hub for the music of South Korea, amassing billions of streams. Yearly streams on the playlist have grown an astonishing 5,600% since 2015. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To celebrate 10 years of sharing K-Pop with the world, Spotify are bringing new music from some of South Korea&#8217;s top artists. Spotify will be releasing their very first <a href=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/playlist\/37i9dQZF1DX9tPFwDMOaN1?si=d7342ddea00c4248\">K-Pop ON! (\uc628)<\/a> singles, starting with a new release from ENHYPEN on February 16th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<iframe style=\"border-radius:12px\" src=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/embed\/playlist\/37i9dQZF1DX9tPFwDMOaN1?utm_source=generator\" width=\"100%\" height=\"352\" frameBorder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"\" allow=\"autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; fullscreen; picture-in-picture\" loading=\"lazy\"><\/iframe>\n\n\n\n<p>Spotify will be dropping their next single with SHOWNU X HYUNGWON on February 29th. Finally, a new drop from STAYC comes to the playlist on March 15th. Each of the new releases<strong> <\/strong>centres around the theme of &#8220;My First K-Pop Crush, representing the first moments of discovering a love of K-Pop. Each song is a cover of a song by a &#8220;sunbae&#8221;, which is a senior artist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The new releases can be explored in greater detail through bonus content on Spotify\u2019s K-Pop ON! (\uc628)\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/show\/35ltzomNTBi2lqCtoL4Drt\">Video Podcast<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/@KpopOnSpotify\">YouTube<\/a>\u00a0channels. They will explore the behind-the-scenes moments that made these songs special and unpacking the stories of the artists involved&#8217;s first K-Pop crushes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Spotify said: &#8220;Whether they\u2019re just discovering the genre or uniting over a shared passion, K-Pop ON! (\uc628) has become a key destination for new listeners and veteran superfans alike.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>South Korean music has become globally significant in the last decade. From viral artists like <a href=\"https:\/\/routenote.com\/blog\/gangnam-style-singer-psy-has-launched-his-own-label\/\">PSY<\/a> to huge boy and girl groups like <a href=\"https:\/\/routenote.com\/blog\/brand-new-official-bts-lego-set-announced\/\">BTS<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/routenote.com\/blog\/blackpink-are-now-the-number-1-artist-on-youtube\/\">BLACKPINK<\/a>.
