Spotify have confirmed the testing of their new AI playlists with a look at how you can chat to AI for the perfect vibe.<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Imagine being able to type in exactly what kind of atmosphere you’re trying to create and getting the perfect playlist in response. That’s exactly what Spotify<\/a> are planning with their new AI playlists. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A user has now discovered the feature which is currently in testing. In the video below you can see how the feature opens up a chat in which you can give the AI your commands for the exact sound you’re after. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The tool lets you type in what you’re after or explore a bunch of suggested prompts. Based on the video’s suggested prompts, you can ask for a combination of moods, energy, and genres. The AI will then craft a selection based on your inputs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once created, you can refine the playlist by removing songs. Whilst Spotify initially declined to confirm the feature when it was discovered in September, they have now confirmed this testing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, they are straying from promoting the feature or building it up for future release. A spokesperson said: “We routinely conduct a number of tests. Some of those tests end up paving the path for our broader experience and others serve only as an important learning [sic]<\/a>.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company have already begun exploring features with AI that are publicly available in certain territories. Their AI DJ tool<\/a> is available in over 50 markets around the world<\/a>, offering a curated and personalised mix of music with your very own robot DJ hosting and guiding the experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The tool was even used in this year’s Spotify Wrapped<\/a> to curate an AI powered radio mix of 2023 music based around your tastes and habits.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
