Leading short-form video platform TikTok, partners with music charts and media brand Billboard, to launch the TikTok Billboard Top 50 Chart.<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The new TikTok Billboard Top 50 Chart monitors and ranks music discovery and engagement across TikTok, listing the most popular songs on the short-form video platforms in the US. This is based on a combination of creations, video views and user engagement by the US TikTok community. Updated weekly on Thursdays, the new chart gives a great view of current music trends in the US.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As we know, TikTok and charts around the world have been hand-in-hand since TikTok’s meteoric rise in 2020, with TikTok dictating what’s high in the charts and the charts dictating what’s popular on TikTok.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

TikTok Billboard Top 50 Chart is available to all users in the US on TikTok. To find it, simply press the round icon in the bottom corner of the screen, then tap ‘Music Charts’ in the top right. Alternatively, anyone can find the chart on Billboard.com here.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first chart is topped by Sexyy Red with SkeeYee<\/em>. Sexyy Red makes three more appearances in this week’s top 50. The top three is also made up by Doja Cat’s Paint the Town Red<\/em> at number two and august<\/em> by Taylor Swift in at three. In the top fifty, you can find Dazz Band’s Let It Whip<\/em>, a top five Hot 100 hit from 1982, a couple of country tracks from Zach Bryan and Tim McGraw, as well as songs from R&B artist Charlie Wilson and emo band Pinegrove.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
