Showcase is Spotify’s new marketing campaign tool that puts your music at the top of the Home feed of the listeners you want to target.<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Announced at Spotify’s Stream On event<\/a> earlier this year, after an initial test with select artists and labels,<\/a> Showcase is now available to thousands of artists via Spotify for Artists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is Spotify Showcase?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The first thing that shows when you open the app, the Home feed is the most visited place on Spotify, reaching millions of listeners and prompting billions of streams every day. Showcase is a banner that shows towards the top of the Home feed on the Spotify mobile app. According to Spotify, people who see a Showcase are on average 6x more likely to stream a release.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Showcase can help artists promote their new release or catalogue releases to both Free and Premium listeners. For listeners, you’ll see a headline, followed by the artwork alongside the title, artist, release type, and butttons to easily add to your library or play.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As with Marquee<\/a>, the minimum budget for Showcase campaigns is $100. Campaigns are active for 14 days or until the budget has been reached, whichever comes first. Prices are calculated on a cost-per-click (CPC) basis, starting at a $0.40 CPC. This means the budget is only spent when people interact with your release. The campaign is not shown to people who have already intentionally streamed the release in the past 28 days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To be eligible for Showcase, you must have at least 1,000 streams over the past 28 days in at least one of the available target markets listed below. For now, the artist team’s billing country must be set to the US. Showcase will be rolling out to more artists around the world in the coming months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to start a Spotify Showcase campaign<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Showcase campaigns are managed in Spotify for Artists. Simply log in or sign up for an account,<\/a> head to Campaigns<\/em>, then the Showcase<\/em> tab. Select the song, EP or album you want to promote, choose who to target with your release, pick a desired start date, budget, and headline from the following list: <\/p>\n\n\n\n
