Twitter has launched their Creator Ads Revenue Sharing program, with payouts totaling $5 million and single payments as high as $100k.<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Announced in February, Twitter has now started paying creators a portion of the revenue earned from ads placed on their Tweets. “This is part of our effort to help people earn a living directly on Twitter.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To be eligible for monetization, creators must:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Be subscribed to Twitter Blue or Verified Organizations<\/li>
  2. Have at least 5M impressions on your posts in each of the last 3 months.<\/li>
  3. Pass human review for Creator Monetization Standards<\/a>.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Once eligible, you’ll also need a Stripe account and to adhere to Twitter’s Subscription policies.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    At this point, revenue is being paid to creators based on the ads served to verified users in the replies to their posts. The program is available to a small initial group, before rolling out more broadly later this month, when all eligible creators will be able to apply. Creator Ads Revenue Sharing is available in all countries where Stripe supports payout.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Elon Musk announced earlier this month that the first block totals $5 million. Over the last few days, some creators have been sharing screenshots of their earnings, with the highest we’ve seen coming from meme account @InternetH0F<\/a>, who has around 2 million followers, earning over $100k.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
