Streaming platform TIDAL has listed 13 artists joining TIDAL RISING this year. Here\u2019s how YOU can sign up.<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

TIDAL <\/a>has announced the first batch of artists to benefit from its TIDAL RISING artist support program. TIDAL RISING was set up in 2015 but recently relaunched to replace the Direct Artists Payout music streaming payment system aimed at funnelling more money to artists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The TIDAL RISING announcement is the first group of hundreds of artists set to benefit over the next 12 months. What do these emerging artists <\/a>get? TIDAL RISING offers industry networking, direct funding, a mentor scheme, and business education. Over the years artists like 21 Savage and Megan Thee Stallion have benefited.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

TIDAL decided that reinvestment into TIDAL RISING meant sacrificing Direct Artist Payouts<\/a>, a user-centric streaming model where 10% of HiFi Plus users monthly subscriptions was directed to their most-streamed artist. TIDAL, however, is the self-proclaimed first streaming service to not only give artists funding but allow them to invest it wherever they feel it is most needed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meet thirteen of the new TIDAL RISING artists below. There’s also Angie Rose<\/a>, Ariel Zetina<\/a>, Brooke Alexx<\/a>, Lala<\/a>, Casper Sage<\/a>, Jobi Riccio<\/a> and Lamorn<\/a>, taking the total group to 20.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
