The update, along with an app store listing that now reads &#8220;Song lyrics so you can sing along to your favorites&#8221;, <a style=\"user-select: auto;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/YoutubeMusic\/comments\/12eocm5\/realtime_lyrics_on_youtube_music_app\/\">were spotted by Reddit users.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This update bring YouTube Music in-line with Spotify, which introduced real-time lyrics in 2020, and Apple Music which first saw the feature back in 2019, before updating it a few months ago with <a style=\"user-select: auto;\" href=\"https:\/\/routenote.com\/blog\/apple-music-sing\/\">the introduction of Apple Music Sing.<\/a> YouTube are hoping this update will further boost their <a href=\"https:\/\/routenote.com\/blog\/subscribed-to-youtube-premium-music\/\">80 million paying YouTube Music and YouTube Premium subscribers.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>How to add time-synced lyrics to your music<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Lyrics on YouTube Music, as well as other store like Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, TIDAL, Instagram, Shazam and more, are powered by Musixmatch.
