Spotify for Artists introduces a new metric to help you find and break down your most dedicated listeners – Active Audience.<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Now shown in Spotify for Artists, Active Audience is a set of your Spotify listeners that have actively streamed your music in the last 28 days. This can be on your artist profile, album or release pages, or the listeners own library or playlist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Active streams differ from programmed streams, which come from Spotify-made playlists, such as editorial and personalized playlists<\/a>. While both are important to an artist’s success, active listeners are those who have shown an interest in you and are most likely to listen again. Spotify says “On average, people who actively stream a song will play that artist\u2019s music 4x more in the next 6 months.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Active Audience data is further broken down in Spotify for Artists based on the listener’s streaming history:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
