Yes, and now Sonos is adding support for spatial audio on Apple Music for its customers for the first time.<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>From March 28, Sonos owners who use <a href=\"https:\/\/routenote.com\/blog\/how-to-get-my-music-on-apple-music\/\">Apple Music <\/a>will be able to listen to tracks in spatial audio. Specifically, Apple Music spatial audio support will be available for Sonos speakers Era 300, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sonos.com\/en-gb\/shop\/arc\">Arc<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sonos.com\/en-gb\/shop\/beam\">Beam (Gen 2)<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/routenote.com\/blog\/what-is-spatial-audio\/\">Spatial audio <\/a>offers an immersive way of experiencing music. 360-degree audio places the listener in the centre, hearing elements from every angle of the stereo field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1336\" height=\"889\" src=\"https:\/\/routenote.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/spatial-audio-speaker-sonos-apple-music-compatible.png\" alt=\"Spatial audio on Sonos speaker playing Apple Music.\" class=\"wp-image-95225 lazyload\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Spatial audio is <a href=\"https:\/\/routenote.com\/blog\/upgrade-apple-music-quality\/\">free for Apple Music users<\/a>, but using the feature requires compatible hardware like speakers or headphones. Apple Music has previously <a href=\"https:\/\/routenote.com\/blog\/apple-music-partner-with-mercedes-benz\/\">partnered with Mercedes-Benz<\/a> to bring Spatial Audio to vehicles, and its own <a href=\"https:\/\/routenote.com\/blog\/apple-has-announced-a-new-homepod-smart-speaker\/\">HomePod<\/a> speakers support the listening mode.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sonos meanwhile recently partnered with another streaming platform, <a href=\"https:\/\/routenote.com\/blog\/get-music-on-deezer\/\">Deezer<\/a>, to bring the Deezer library of tracks<a href=\"https:\/\/routenote.com\/blog\/music-on-deezer-with-sonos-radio\/\"> to Sonos Radio<\/a>.
