Start using popular music in your monetized videos today!<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><a style=\"user-select: auto;\" href=\"https:\/\/routenote.com\/blog\/youtube-use-music-in-video\/\">Announced in September,<\/a> Creator Music allows creators on YouTube to use popular, copyright-protected music from high-profile artists and still monetize videos, via paid licences or a revenue share model. <a style=\"user-select: auto;\" href=\"https:\/\/routenote.com\/blog\/creator-music-more-details\/\">In October,<\/a> we got further details on how the Creator Music library works, with information on licence types.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img src=\"https:\/\/storage.googleapis.com\/support-forums-api\/attachment\/thread-185836615-15597150601594387071.gif\" alt=\"\"\/><figcaption><em>Image Credit: <a href=\"https:\/\/support.google.com\/youtube\/thread\/185836615\">YouTube<\/a><\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>Previously for YPP creators, using copyright-protected tracks would send all of the ad-revenue generated by the video to the music rightsholder.
