Sonkinetic has recently launched its new Kontakt instrument, Sotto X, and it includes a synthesized catalog of sounds based on the Sotto orchestral phrase library. Further, the project is a collaboration with Samplify, and it <\/a>takes the original orchestral scores for Sotto and transforms them into lush arpeggios and melodic pads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Sonokinetic libraries are used by countless musicians, sound designers, and producers. Now, their latest library Sotto X uses analog synthesis<\/a><\/strong><\/span> to recreate the infamous sounds of Sonokinetic’s original Sotto library. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Sonokinetic shares a love for the sound of old synths, and vintage hardware has long been a fascination for the team here at Sonokinetic. As fledgling music producers, long before Sonokinetic could afford high-end orchestral recording, they would craft intricate facsimiles of orchestral sections using nothing more than MIDI programming and synthesizers.<\/p>Sonokintic<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n Rekkerd<\/a><\/strong><\/span> reports that Sonokinetic has used its new Sotto X library to bring its journey as a developer full circle and “add an extra dimension to their favorite orchestral phrase libraries”. The library has been designed to complement the existing Sotto orchestral phrases, and Sotto X is “just as playable” as the brads’ other virtual instruments. The sounds within have been expertly created and recorded using an anal<\/a>o<\/a>g<\/a><\/strong><\/span> signal path, for both the synth tones and post-production effects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
